My name is Laurie Anderson. I have been teaching for 20 years in the elementary grades. I graduated with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega. I also hold Special Education, Gifted , and Middle School ELA certifications. My passion is teaching and I enjoy watching children learn and grow to become independent learners and thinkers. I am excited to begin my first year at RES!!!
My husband and I live in Dahlonega. We enjoy spending each afternoon with our sweet family.
My hobbies are working out, hiking, fishing, hunting, and camping. My husband and I love the great outdoors and recently went to Glacier National Park to view the beautiful scenery! It was truly amazing, and we look forward to our next adventure!
