Occupational Therapist

I have been an Occupational Therapist for 28 years and I feel very blessed to have a great career where I can work with children in the school setting.  The schools are where I have worked for most of my professional life.  My passion is helping children achieve their fullest potential and success in their academic life.

I have an 18-year-old son who I love spending time with.  I am an animal lover and have 2 adorable, spoiled Pomeranians.  My interests included gardening, reading, biking, learning, traveling and spending time at the beach.  I love the outdoors and nature.

Because of my passion in Occupational Therapy and helping children excel I am currently studying remedial vision as a specialty.  My pediatrics experience is primarily in the areas of vision, sensory, fine motor, motor planning and writing.  I’m a diversified therapist and have had extensive training in several areas of child development. I also informally study cognitive therapy and incorporate positive thinking during therapy sessions because when we think we can do something we are halfway there.  I also love consulting with parents, teachers and staff to facilitate academic success.  I am fun loving, kind hearted, dedicated and a hard worker.  I love to laugh but tend to be more serious at work.  I look forward to working with your children and their teachers.
