Lydia Burnett
4th Grade Teacher
I was born and raised near Milton, Georgia. I received both my Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of North Georgia. This is my 24th year teaching. I have taught kindergarten through fifth grade, both as a classroom and special education teacher.
I have been happily married to my college sweetheart for 22 years. We have two boys, Noah, who is beginning college this year at Toccoa Falls, and Chatham, who is a junior at DCHS.
We are active in our church and enjoy spending time
together around the kitchen table and being outdoors. I strive to create a safe, loving, family atmosphere in my classroom. I am so blessed to be a part of the RES family!
